  • representing clients in the District Court during family provision applications;
  • instructing both Senior and Junior Counsel in the Court of Appeal;
  • appearing in person at the Federal Court of Australia in connection with insolvency proceedings;
  • acting on behalf of a builder regarding a claim under the Home Warranty Scheme, successfully prompting the QBCC to reconsider its initial decision;
  • defending against proceedings in the Supreme Court for the alleged misuse of a previous employer’s confidential information, where the Court ruled the information was not confidential, resulting in a dismissal and costs awarded in favor of the client;
  • representing adult children of a deceased individual where the last will lacked provisions for them, achieving a favorable resolution prior to the hearing and obtaining consent orders in the Supreme Court;
  • advocating for a unit owner seeking exclusive use area allocations similar to those granted to other unit owners, including a successful appeal against an adjudicator’s decision;
  • assisting a company facing a purportedly expired statutory demand, successfully applying to have the demand set aside with costs awarded to the client;
  • representing a company that faced a default judgment, successfully having the judgment overturned with costs awarded in favor of the client;
  • representing a company in a Federal Court application to wind up, successfully arguing against insolvency and achieving costs awarded in the client’s favor;
  • appearing in the Magistrates Court across various locations concerning traffic matters;
  • advising builders in reviewing QBCC decisions internally and in QCAT;
  • engaging in property law, including the buying and selling of residential and commercial properties, as well as litigation regarding property disputes, including boundary issues; and
